An authority in stochastic processes, risk analysis and the application of 3D computer models to construction management, Col. F.H. “Bud” Griffis brings more than 45 years experience to Dawson & Associates.

Many of New York’s most challenging construction projects, including the Ground Zero reconstruction and construction management for the Gowanus Expressway reconstruction, have looked to Bud for his expertise.

Prior to that, for 26 years, he served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. His experience includes four years as Program Manager for the Corps of Engineers Dredged Material Research Program. He was also one of the founding members of the Corps of Engineers’ first environmental laboratories at the Waterways Experiment Station in Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Since 2007, he has been heavily involved in research in second generation Magnetic Levitation Vehicles.
